Metro Caster’s heavy duty / industrial casters are

engineered for loads from 1,200 lbs. to 20,000 lbs. each, in

applications including conveyors and heavy duty power drawn

equipment, heavy duty dumpsters, aircraft assembly and

maintenance equipment, gantries, hangar doors and fuel cell

transport. Depending on the selected series, these casters feature

top plates and yokes constructed from cold formed ¼" steel plate

to 1" thick 1045 AISI heat-treated steel plate. Swivel

configurations offer load races from 3¼" to 11" in diameter; axles

from ½" to 2½" thick. Many bearing and locking wheel/brake

options, and wheel and tread materials. Select models offer

Dual Wheel options for greater load capacities. Heavy duty casters

are for extreme industrial conditions where traditional casters will

not hold up.
